Review: I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone

Emily never knew her mother, Louisa, who left when Emily was just an infant. Louisa was always a rebel. Louisa met Emily's father Michael when he was playing in a band at River's Edge, a barn converted into a concert stage. Louisa supposedly left to find the next wave of great music. Emily seems to be following in her mother's footsteps even though she's become a successful musician. It is the rocky road of punk music: sex, drugs and rock & roll. Emily and Louisa are searching for something. Will they find it? I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone is an edgy, well written, exciting book and one that every music lover or lover of a good story will enjoy. Put some Ramones on the turntable, turn up the music loud and read I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone.
