I have never actually read this series, but from reading the review, this seems like something I would really enjoy. I love mysteries and sleuth characters (and any character based on Sherlock Holmes gets extra points in my book), and Sherry Holmes Baldwin seems like a fun, spunky series with a great heroine.
ReplyDeletethe reason why I like teen sleuth Sherry Holmes Baldwin, is because she reminds me of how my friends and I were at that age. Youth is refreshing.
ReplyDeleteI cut my reading teeth on Sherlock Holmes...Conan Doyle's mysteries hooked me and suddenly I didn't need pictures. Then on to Nancy Drew (seems backward, I know!) These have been on my 'to read' list but I haven't gotten to them yet. If I win, it would be easy!
ReplyDeleteI love them because they are an easy read and easy to get involved in. I was just like the character when I was her age!! I wish there had been books like this when I was this age!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had the pleasure of reading this series yet.

Shes like a replacement nancy drew after nancy drew stories went down the drain. So she makes it all better :)

I like her because she's a great fun character that is a great role model for girls! And because I don't have to worry about what she'll say or do being inappropriate.

I love it because having a young Female heroine is important and it teaches girls to be proactive. I think it's amazing.

My teen loves to read this series and now my tween is starting to read. I love it because it is something they have in common, which makes me happy.
