Reveiw: The Curse of the Wendigo

First there was the Anthropophagi, a beast without a head, who has its face on its body.  Now there is the Wendigo, a mythical creature with a malevolent cannibalistic spirit into which humans could transform or which could possess humans.  Rick Yancey, in The Curse of the Wendigo has done it again...taken a 'mythical' beast and written a blood and guts and gore book about it.  And it works.  This sequel to The Monstrumologist has just what you want in a book.  The real question is:  is the Wendigo mythical or is it real?  Hmmmm.  Sweet dreams!
